Class pages

Class sizes vary from eight to twelve pupils. They are based on pupils’ language comprehension skills, as well as curriculum attainments, learning and social needs.

Each class has a core team of teacher, speech and language therapist and at least one learning support assistant. Children generally stay within their class group for teaching and therapy, but mixed groups may be organised for specific timetabled sessions according to ability and need.
