Professional visit day
Join us at Meath School to learn more about supporting children with speech and language challenges.
Date: 18th March 2027
Time: 9.15am to 2.45pm
Cost: £100 per person (lunch included)
Next March, we’re opening our doors to educators, professionals, speech and language therapists, and others who work with children for one special day. At Meath, we take great pride in the work we do – and we know that by sharing our knowledge, we can help even more children with speech and language challenges get the support they need.
The day will include:
- a tour of Meath School
- in-class observations of adapted National Curriculum lessons, created to help children with speech, language and communication needs fulfill their academic potential
- professional discussion with speech and language therapists and specialist teachers on topics like integrated approaches to support communication and our Pre-phonics Boost programme.
Rated Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ since 2007, we are dedicated to making sure that every child learns to communicate effectively, fulfil their aspirations, work collaboratively, and develop ongoing independence and resilience. We invite you to share the Meath experience. Join us to learn more about tools, programmes, and techniques that you can use to support children in your work. That includes our Talk Learn Grow framework, used for tracking communication and learning progress, and our use of Sign Supported English, allowing for multimodal communication.
