Talk Boost training
Join us at Meath School to build your skills at one of our Talk Boost training days.
Since 2012, we’ve trained over 1,000 professionals to deliver our evidence-based programmes and interventions in early years settings, primary and secondary schools across the UK.
This is your opportunity to become learn how to deliver our Talk Boost programmes in your own classroom and become a Speech and Language UK licensee. Not only will you build your skillset and your confidence in inclusive practice, but you’ll help more children and young people by giving them the support they need when and where it’s needed most.
And what’s more, Talk Boost is just one of our practical, proven solutions that can turn inclusive mainstream funding into meaningful impact for children!
Dates:
- Early Talk Boost Training: Wednesday 27 January 2027, 9:15am to 3:30pm
- Talk Boost KS1 Training: Wednesday 25 November 2026, 9:15am to 3:30pm
- Talk Boost KS2 Training: Thursday 4 February, 9:15am to 3:30pm
Cost:
- £600 for the Talk Boost programme (if needed)
- £150 per person (excluding VAT) the training
Please note participants will need to bring their own lunch for the training.
Early Talk Boost is a targeted programme aimed at children aged three to four who need help with talking and understanding words.
The programme helps to boost their language skills to narrow the gap between them and their peers. The programme aims to accelerate children’s progress in language and communication by an average of five months after nine weeks.
Our training will equip you with the skills you need to deliver this training and help children’s communication skills in your classroom.

Talk Boost KS1 is a targeted programme for children aged four to seven who need help with talking and understanding words, including children in Reception classes.
The programme is delivered in primary schools by classroom teachers and teaching assistants and provides a structured programme that boosts children’s progress in language and communication by an average of nine to 18 months after a ten week intervention.
Our training will equip you with the skills you need to deliver this training and help children’s communication skills in your classroom.

Talk Boost KS2 is a targeted programme aimed at children aged seven to 10 who need help with talking and understanding words, aiming to boost their language skills helping them to catch up with their peers.
The programme aims to accelerate children’s progress in language and communication after eight weeks.
Our training will equip you with the skills you need to deliver this training and help children’s communication skills in your classroom.

Time: 9.15am to 3:30pm
Cost: £600 per school (lunch included)
A Speech and Language UK licensee is a skilled educational professional who is trained and licensed to deliver one or more of our training and accreditation programmes direct to practitioners within schools or settings. These practitioners then implement our intervention or programme in their school or setting.
