Welcome to Meath School, an 'Outstanding' Special Primary
I CAN’s Meath School is a unique, nurturing, specialised learning community. The school and care settings have been recognised by Ofsted as ‘outstanding’ since 2008 and are on the Ofsted Outstanding Providers list. We are special because we are one of a very few schools in the UK that is purely for primary aged children with speech, language and communication needs (SLCN), including Asperger’s Syndrome. We specialise in young learners.
We work to create a school community where children achieve excellent progress in their speaking, listening and understanding. In this way, we can ensure that their learning develops and confidence, independence and self-esteem grow. We want pupils to become responsible, active participants in their school and family life and in their home communities.
If you have a child with SLCN, you simply must get in touch with us to arrange a tour. You’ll see why Meath School is different.
